Here lies the heart of st TEN Stone Built Village.
The Private Village is literally a small private village within the village of Agioi Deka.
Its nine stone-built houses are all built with the materials and know-how of the local traditional architecture. The cobbled alleys with benches that invite you to relax and unwind and the shady trees planted here decades ago, revive the atmosphere and quality of life of another era.
The swimming pool and the fully equipped and updated pool bar complete the guest experience of the Private Village with all necessary modern amenities. The old wood-fired oven in the courtyard has been restored and is ready to be reignited for unforgettable live cooking sessions.
The main entrance of the Private Village is next to the Church of Agioi Deka. The large three-aisled basilica with the narthex and the two trulae annexes is built on the spot where the Roman amphitheatre of ancient Gortys once stood and remains the reference point for the village, which it has named after it.
Around the church there were small properties and stables, buildings which were restored and unified in order to create today’s harmonious and welcoming Private Village.
